Just Another Casual Day

You know what I had a very causal day. It's monday and I woke up at 5am and didn't need to go to school, recieved some fantastic news and nearly killed a man (not really but you know, Hype)

But before all that, I must share this old photo of me seeing the sun for the last time. There I was walking down the gloomy main streets of lahti, then bang the clouds clear from the sky and what do I see The Sun!
After that wonderful moment I have not seen the sun for a week because it has been raining cats and dogs, which I don't mind.
I like the wet weather because you can stay inside and sleep or go for a shower outside... In the rain.... And the cold.
Now, school is out for a week because Finland has these breaks that lasts a week usually every season.
And to start the holiday I joined my host sister in a really fun camping trip in the forest.

I went for a bit of swim, it was not cold at all. (Actually it was so cold I swore very load, and that why the video is not on my blog)
But also got to feel like Thor the God of thunder

After that came home the next day and went to bed early and today started.
Woke up at 5am, yeah that was weird but it doesn't matter, just watched YouTube all morning and went out for a walk, and I took the opportunity to call my uncle to say happy birthday to my cousin. I didn't catch her, but I have had wonderful news from my uncle that Zac, another cousin, is coming to Finland because he joined the national curling team of Australia. What Luck!!!!
Like the chances of that happening is just impossible.
So that put me in a great mood.
Since the cleaner was coming my host dad decided to take the Elmeri and I to Vieromaki Sports Centre, where we went climbing in a zipline obstacle course up in the trees. So we put our harnesses on and started off in the basic course which was supposed to be easy but all the wood was soaking wet from all the rain so it was very slipery.

We went on the most difficult course first, and Boi was it hard. I had slipt so many times and Elmeri also, and i nearly gave up a few times, but BUT BUTT Elmeri helped me and we made it to the end of the most difficult course very happily.
Finally there was a 150 metre long zipline to Finnish off, where I went first and slipped down that glorious road and it went very fast probably too fast that I ended up messing up the landing and then going back a bit, towards the FLYING ELMERI, who suddenly was flying towards me. So I thought mmmmm, speed and weight. Elmeri is half the size of me so that means that I would probably injury him if it came to it, but you know luckily I yelled and one of the instructors came to help me out and pulled me out of the way.
So that was the most exciting part.
After the scare, we went to eat where I saw a few school and Elmeri was taking shots of milk and water and something else he found.
And..... I joined in. Mikko, host dad, being very disappointed in us.
Then we went to swim in the swimming hall. Elmeri and i went into the cold water pool for about 5 minutes. Elmeri couldn't feel his legs.
Afterwards we went home so that I could get ready jiu jitsu practice, which was easy and educational. I am hoping to do a little Jiu jitsu practice over the holiday but i think I will be a bit busy hanging with the family and friends.
Now I am super tired and ready for bed,
So good night everyone and in Finland Hyvää Yötä
Stay awesome
